- Course level, discipline, provider, pathway and professional registration may affect what is accepted.
- IELTS is one possible test pathway; other approved tests may be available depending on the provider and course.
- Published requirements and accepted tests can change, so an old result or screenshot is not enough.
A sensible checking order
- Identify the exact course and provider.
- Read the current English-language requirement on the provider’s official page.
- Check whether each component has a minimum, not only the overall result.
- Ask the provider whether a pathway, prior study or another accepted test changes the requirement.
